Swope Nissan has an immediate need for an Automotive Service Technician. We have a GREAT career program for Technicians coming in with OR without experience. The focus of this job is on producing high quality, detailed work based on established standards, guidelines and procedures. Precise, consistent work output is essential requiring patience and a willingness to handle and complete one task at a time. Job knowledge and competency is built through structured step-by-step training and positive, supportive coaching from management and peers. Consistent, error free work based on defined regulations and standards are key measures of job performance success. The job environment promotes steady, methodical work output so that job routines can be completed on time and error-free. Job Description :
- Perform Oil Changes & Quick Lubes in an efficient manner.
- Perform Tire Changeovers & Wheel Balancing.
- Light Duty Repair work - Wipers, Air & Cabin Filters, Battery testing.
- Provide Service Advisor with a quality inspection and communicate recommendations when needed.
- Demonstrate excellent guest service, which includes providing clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles.
- Ensure customer vehicles are kept clean and treated with respect.
- Promote teamwork to deliver on guest expectations.
- Maintain strict adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation.
- Maintain any certifications and training as required by the manufacturer.
- Willing to help out in any area of the service department where needed, this could include building and grounds maintenance.
