Description :
Diagnose and perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
Perform used car checklists to identify what repairs need to be made.
Complete full multi-point inspections and provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs.
Communicate with Service Advisor’s to ensure efficient work flow.
Inspect and test new vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made.
Demonstrate excellent guest service, which includes providing clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles.
Test batteries of customer vehicles in service bay.
Promote teamwork to deliver on guest expectations.
Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.
Requirements :
High School diploma or GED.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong computer skills and diagnostic capabilities
Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
Ensure customer vehicles are kept clean and treated with respect.
Maintain a neat, clean and orderly work station.
Must maintain integrity, honesty, and work ethics.
Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, including consumer tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting.
Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
All potential employees must pass pre-employment testing to include a background check and drug screen.
