POSITION SUMMARY
As the Talent Acquisition Specialist for Swope Health, you with be a part of the talent acquisition team that strives to recruit the highest qualified candidates to support Swope mission of providing quality healthcare for those who need it the most. Our Talent Acquisition specialist oversees the employment services within Swope Health by sourcing and recruiting qualified candidates are matched with roles that suit their skills and experience, and supporting the hiring manager throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
Job Functions
- Assist the human resources manager with the recruiting and selection processes
- Establish and implement cost effective recruiting strategies that result in the attraction and retention of high caliber staff. Develop relationships with schools, colleges, and other community and regional resources that lead to the attraction and hiring skilled associates.
- Lead recruitment efforts which includes sourcing, screening and managing candidate pipelines for entry level and professional roles within a targeted time frame and provide interview feedback to HR Manager.
- Responsible for posting and creating electronic job records for each position and maintaining the applicant tracking system and keeping up to date with all open positions.
- Assist in the development of contractual relationships with consultants, temporary agencies or other health industry vendor as necessary.
- Ability to routinely and creatively use and understand technology necessary to collect, input analyze and report critical, requisite information related to human resources, payroll, benefits and related matters.
- Assist HR Manager with onboarding new hires, which may include creating offer letters and some negotiations with salary and assist in facilitating new hire orientation.
- Assist managers with contacting temporary agencies to fill temporary assignments. Ensure temporary agencies follow onboarding protocol.
- Ability to travel throughout the region to recruit, and to establish relationships with strategic partners and key resources and attend career fairs.
- Attend meetings with HR Managers to plan and discuss positions to be filled.
- Assist HR Manager with training managers on staffing and selection process and utilizing hiring tools effectively.
- Assist HR Manager with training managers on opening up a requisition in the applicant tracking system.
- Provide staffing reports to administration i.e. Time To Fill, Cost To Hire
EDUCATION
- Highschool Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor degree in Human Resources or related field (preferred)
- 3-5 years of high volume recruiting experiencing the healthcare required .
QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated success in the role of recruiter within a comparable or larger sized organization.
- Substantial knowledge and expertise in many facets of human resources management.
- Demonstrated skills and abilities in the competencies so noted in this document.
- Must have strong working knowledge of computers, HRIS, office automation software and related tools.
