Job Summary:
This position position performs accounting activities related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions, including travel payment, purchase card processing, and document imaging activities. They will also help with Purchase Orders and Purchasing. Acts as a resource for the Business Services Office and builds effective, strong working relationships to enhance department operations and functions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support services to the department in a manner that professionally, cordially, and efficiently assists students, faculty, staff, and visitors
- Responsibilities includes ensuring invoices, travel payments, and purchase card transactions are paid timely and accurately
- Assist in travel related processes
- Assist with processing purchase orders and bids
- Responsible for researching and resolving vendor statement or past due issues in a timely and accurate manner
- Communicate with Office of Management and Enterprise Services (OMES) as needed on transmissions, claim procedures, state rules, and warrant information
- Responsible for the completion, submission, and maintenance of office supplies and inventory
- Other duties as assigned
