Job Summary:
Serves as an Assistant Professor for the Ed.S. School Psychology Program graduate courses and M.Ed. in Psychometry Program graduate courses, assists in program development, directs the school psychology program, and advises students. As the Director of the School Psychology program, you will be responsible for reporting, data analysis, program improvements, and program updates to maintain current best practices in the field. Scholarly activity is expected. Strong emphasis on collegiality and service mindset. Candidate should have excellent skills in communication, problem-solving, organization, mentoring, supervision, and delegation. Able to comply with the SWOSU Faculty Handbook.
Adheres to the educational philosophy of the department. Works in a collaborative and supportive manner with colleagues and professional peers. Participates in university meetings that relate specifically to faculty. Serves on department, college, and university committees as requested. Prepares departmental reports as requested. Engages in teaching, service, and scholarly activities as defined by the tenure and promotion policy in the SWOSU Faculty Handbook. Faculty are expected to support & facilitate the department/school/college academic and university missions, visions, & long-term goals.
