We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing payments, reconciling accounts, preparing sales orders for invoicing, and ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and payment processing. You will also be instrumental in resolving billing discrepancies and building strong relationships with both internal teams and external clients. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of accounts receivable experience, strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting systems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Processing incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Process Resale Certificates as per company procedures
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
- Review and prepare Sales Orders for invoicing
- Set up and process invoices and payments according to 3rd party billing requirements
- Verify discrepancies and resolve clients billing issues
- Establishes and maintains strong working relationships with all levels of the organization including workers, management, customers, and vendors as applicable
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years experience in Accounts Receivable
- Proven experience in Collections
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word & Outlook
- Intermediate software & technology experience (Sage Software experience is a plus)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities and timeframes
- Ability to think creatively and innovatively
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
- Bright, energetic professional with outstanding interpersonal skills with the highest personal and business integrity
- Dependable and results-driven with solid time-management and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal, written and telephone communication skills
- Highly motivated self-starter who can work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Proven ability to effectively resolve problems or issues by using good judgment consistent with company standards, practices, policies, procedures, values, and applicable legal standards
