The Engineering Manager is experienced and able to lead our engineering team in the development, improvement, and implementation of air filtration products. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong background in product design, mechanical engineering, and project management to drive innovation and efficiency in our engineering processes.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the engineering team, providing technical direction and professional development.
- Oversee product design, development, testing, and validation of air filtration systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, sales, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless product development.
- Improve existing products and develop new technologies to meet customer and industry requirements.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company quality control processes.
- Manage engineering budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to meet project deadlines and goals.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in design, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Support customer technical inquiries and provide engineering expertise for product applications.
- Evaluate and implement new tools, software, and processes to enhance engineering efficiency.
Required Skills:
- Experience in the manufacturing industry, particularly in air filtration, HVAC, or heavy equipment components.
- Knowledge of industry regulations such as ISO standards, EPA emissions standards, or similar.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills with a track record of mentoring and developing engineers.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot technical challenges and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to various stakeholders.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: 7 years of engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred), product development methodologies, and engineering principles related to filtration, airflow, or heavy equipment.
- Experience managing engineering projects from concept to production, including budgeting and scheduling.

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- At times may need to work in an Industrial warehouse environment with varying work levels and uneven surface areas.

- Normal auditory, visual acuity including depth perception and peripheral vision, ambulatory ability and dexterity.
