Supply Chain and Operations Director

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Supply Chain & Operations Director to join Sy-Klone International to lead and optimize our end-to-end supply chain and operational processes. This role is responsible for overseeing procurement, production, inventory management, logistics, and distribution to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and high-quality standards. As a key leadership position, the Director will collaborate cross-functionally to drive operational excellence, improve supplier relationships, and implement best practices in lean manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, operations, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment, preferably in automotive, industrial, or filtration-related industries.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute supply chain and operations strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Oversee procurement, supplier negotiations, and vendor management to ensure timely and cost-effective material sourcing.
• Oversee production planning and scheduling to align with customer demand and inventory targets.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.
• Optimize inventory levels, warehouse management, and logistics to streamline distribution.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and quality control measures.
• Ensure all operational processes are fully developed and implemented as well as adhered to.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and finance teams to align operations with business objectives.
• Lead and mentor a team to foster a high-performance and results-driven culture.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other efficiency-improving methodologies.
• Experience with systems like Syspro for demand planning, procurement, and inventory management.
• Expertise in end-to-end supply chain functions, including procurement, production planning, logistics, and inventory control and product build.
• Ability to align manufacturing processes with business demands to optimize efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Familiarity with ISO standards, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance practices.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field.
• 12 years in supply chain and operations leadership within a manufacturing environment, preferably in heavy off road, industrial, automotive, or filtration-related industries.
• Certifications: APICS CPIM, CSCP, Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or similar.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• At times may need to work in an Industrial warehouse environment with varying work levels and uneven surface areas.
• Must be able to lift up to 20lbs at times.
• Normal auditory, visual acuity including depth perception and peripheral vision, ambulatory ability and dexterity.
