Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
Duties
- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues on desktops and laptops
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software
- Utilize Jira and ServiceNow ticketing systems to track and resolve technical issues
- Provide desktop support for end-users in person, via phone, or remote access
- Maintain knowledge of IT infrastructure including TCP/IP, SCCM, and TCP protocols
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure smooth operation of all systems
Qualifications
- Proven experience in desktop support and software troubleshooting
- Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows and macOS
- Familiarity with Jira, ServiceNow, and IT infrastructure
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with end-users
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
