Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Specialist with a strong track record in hunting and acquiring new business opportunities in software solutions, AI/ML services, back-office services, and GIS. The ideal candidate will have a consultative approach to sales, a proven ability to close deals within 0-3 months, and a history of achieving aggressive sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development Identify and target potential clients across industries requiring software solutions, AI/ML services, back-office services, and GIS. Build a robust sales pipeline and maintain a steady flow of new business opportunities.
2. Consultative Selling Understand client requirements and challenges, propose tailored solutions, and position the company’s offerings as strategic enablers of their success. Establish trust-based relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders.
3. Sales Target Achievement Achieve a minimum annual order booking target of $2 million. Drive the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing, ensuring short conversion cycles of 0-3 months.
4. Client Engagement & Relationship Management Maintain regular follow-ups with potential clients to nurture leads and build long-term relationships. Provide exceptional client experience to maximize repeat business and referrals.
5. Market Research & Strategy Analyze industry trends, competitive landscapes, and client needs to identify business opportunities. Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to specific market segments.
6. Collaboration & Reporting Work closely with delivery and technical teams to ensure alignment on proposed solutions. Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and account updates for management review.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience: Minimum 5 years in hardcore sales, with a focus on hunting for new business in software solutions, AI/ML services, back-office services, or GIS.
Proven Track Record:
Demonstrated ability to achieve or exceed sales targets, particularly large order bookings ($2M ). Sales Cycle Management: Ability to close deals within a short sales cycle of 0-3 months. Consultative Selling: Strong skills in identifying client pain points and offering tailored solutions. Communication & Negotiation: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a persuasive approach to negotiations. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry trends and client requirements in software, AI/ML, GIS, and back-office services. Analytical Skills: Ability to conduct market research, understand customer needs, and align them with company offerings.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience selling to C-level executives or large enterprise clients. Knowledge of emerging technologies and digital transformation trends. Proficiency in CRM tools and sales management software.
