Job Description:
In support of the Mission, Vision and Values of SyBridge Technologies Group of Companies, the Mold Estimator is responsible to provide accurate tooling cost evaluations to the Estimating Manager to present to the Sales group. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Estimating the Mold Estimator works to ensure accuracy and consistency to help the team meet or exceeds all goals and objectives required from this department.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Follows prescribed methods and procedures in developing tool costs for the final quote preparation.
- Prepares cost analysis using quote template to calculate material, labor, subcontracting and overhead costs.
- Review documents and Data to ensure understanding of scope of work of all quotes.
- Review customer unique items list and apply to each tool cost.
- Collects and assembles all estimated costs that are associated with each project.
- Obtains pricing for materials and bids from subcontractors.
- Reviews quotes and revisions for completeness and accuracy.
- Ensures timely completion of quotes.
- Informs immediate supervisor of any observed inaccuracies or omissions in quoted items or costing database.
- Knowledge of multiple customer standards and tool types
- Knowledge of multiple software types (SolidWorks 3D, Salesforce, Excel, Spinfire)
- Quote turnaround time
Qualifications:
- Certification or College Degree or Equivalent Experience in Mold Manufacturing environment
- 5 years Multi-Cavity Mold and high precision tooling experience preferred.
- Experience in Plastic Injection Mold Design and/or Mold Manufacturing
- Experience with multiple software’s is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Build a positive customer relationship with internal customers.
- Able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines as required.
- Computer proficient in Microsoft Office such as Word and Excel
