Position Summary
SyBridge Technologies is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead our technology infrastructure, cybersecurity, and IT support operations. This role will ensure that our systems, networks, and digital solutions function seamlessly to support our manufacturing and engineering operations. The IT Manager will manage key projects and enhance security measures while optimizing business processes through technology.
Key Responsibilities
Technology & Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and security of IT systems, including networks, cloud solutions, and enterpriseapplicationsof our Canadian operations.
- Manage IT system upgrades, migrations, and integration projects across multiple business units.
- Ensure high availability and performance of IT infrastructure to support SyBridges manufacturing
Cybersecurity & Compliance:
- Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity strategies to protect company data, systems, and intellectual property.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, data protection laws, and internal security protocols.
- Monitor and mitigate IT risks, vulnerabilities, and potential threats acrossSyBridgesdigital infrastructure.
IT Support & Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor an IT team responsible for system administration, helpdesk support, and network management.
- Provide technical guidance and ensure timely resolution of IT issues across multiple locations.
- Partner with key stakeholders to understand business needs and enhance IT service delivery.
Project & Vendor Management:
- Manage IT projects, cloud migration, and IT infrastructure improvements.
- Oversee vendor relationships, software contracts, and IT service agreements to optimize costs and performance.
Business Alignment & Digital Transformation:
- Collaborate with leadership to align IT strategy withSyBridgesdigital manufacturing initiatives.
- Identify and implement innovative technologies to enhance productivity, automation, and operational efficiency.
- Stay informed on emerging trends in manufacturing IT, Industry 4.0, and smart factory solutions.
Qualifications
- Education:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, OR 10 years of related work experience in lieu of a degree
- Experience:7-10 years of IT experience, with at least 3 years in an IT management or leadership role.
- Industry Expertise:Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in enterprise IT infrastructure and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Strong knowledge of network security and network principals
- Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Server Technologies: IE; Active Directory
- Experience with IT service management (ITSM), helpdesk operations, and system administration.
- Leadership & Communication:
- Strong ability to lead teams, manage cross-functional projects, and drive IT initiatives.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to align IT solutions with business needs.
- Ability to work independently andcollaboratively.
