What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Coordinator position at Sycamore Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry?
Sycamore Orthodontic and Pediatric Dentistry is looking to hire a Front Desk Team Member to our outstanding team. Unique opportunity for an energetic, enthusiastic individual that is self-motivated, and able to build rewarding relationships with our valued patients.
This position requires good interpersonal skills to develop an effective relationship with patients, parents, doctors, team members and the community. Gentle persuasion skills and an understanding of treatment options are required to guide patients and parents and to instill confidence with regards to the pediatric dentist’s abilities and results of treatment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
· Greet Patients in a warm and friendly manner
· Prepare necessary paperwork for all new patients
· Appropriately schedule appointments to ensure quality care for patients in a timely, stress-free manner (monitor schedule consistently)
· Follow-up with patients and reach out to those not scheduled.
· Update patient’s information as received and deliver to any necessary team member
· Answer phones, take messages when necessary and accurately complete chart documentation as needed
Daily Duties:
· Check all patients in and out
· Answer phones, follow up with emails or phone referrals to schedule
· Call DDS for all pending patients recent x-rays
· Send out all Doctor communication with letters or emails in regards to patients’ treatment or end of treatment
Job Type: Full-time, M-Th with rotation Friday's
Pay: Starting at $17.00 an hour, based on experience and is negotiable.
