Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients as they arrive, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage phone systems to handle incoming calls, direct inquiries, and take messages as needed.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently to maintain up-to-date patient records.
- Handle clerical duties such as scanning documents, and maintaining office supplies.
- Utilize Google Suite applications for various administrative tasks including document creation and spreadsheet management.
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance office operations and improve patient experiences.
Experience
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or dental receptionist is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in using computerized systems for data entry and appointment scheduling.
- Familiarity with office equipment and phone systems is essential.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with patients and staff.
- Ability to type efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
