At Sycamore Services, our Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) program empowers students to explore their career interests, gain valuable work experience, and prepare for a successful future.
As a Career Coach , you will play a key role in guiding students through this important transition by providing personalized coaching, facilitating work-based learning experiences, and helping students build the skills they need to thrive in the workplace and beyond. If you're a motivated, compassionate advocate for students with disabilities, this is your opportunity to inspire and shape the future of the next generation!
Key Responsibilities :
- Career Exploration & Development : Guide students in exploring career options, developing workplace skills, and preparing for post-secondary education.
- Collaboration : Act as the primary contact within schools, working with VRS and school staff to identify eligible students, provide resources, and create work-based learning opportunities.
- Support & Advocacy : Connect students and families with resources, including benefits planning and community support services. Advocate for students' needs to ensure successful transitions.
- Data & Reporting : Track and report student progress, ensuring accurate data collection and submission.
- Training & Professional Development : Participate in team meetings, stay current on transition practices, and assist school staff with training and support.
