Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in behavioral therapy and have experience working with individuals with disabilities, particularly those on the autism spectrum. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct support to clients and their families. The BCBA will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of care.
Duties
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments to determine the needs of clients.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Collect and analyze data to measure client progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Provide training and support to caregivers and staff in implementing behavior intervention strategies.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with other professionals, including educators and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Stay current with developments in the field of behavioral analysis and participate in ongoing professional development.
Requirements
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, particularly those with autism.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and experience in medical documentation.
- Proficient in data collection methods and analysis related to behavioral therapy.
- Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient care.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- A background in working with children is preferred but not mandatory.
