The Solutions Architect is responsible for the design and implementation of technology solutions that meet the strategic needs of the business. This position will work closely with stakeholders to establish an understanding of their requirements in order to develop effective, scalable, and secure architecture. As a candidate, you must possess expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 PMA (Project Management & Accounting) and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Operations to be considered for this position.
Responsibilities
- Design and architect Microsoft Dynamics 365 PMA and Project Operations solutions to fulfill business requirements.
- Customize and configure Dynamics 365 modules; including cost tracking, project budgeting, resource planning, billing, and financial integrations.
- Integrate Dynamics 365 Project Operations with other Microsoft technologies such as Office 365, Azure, and Power Platform; and third-party systems.
- Lead end-to-end solution design; ensuring performance, scalability, and alignment with best practices.
- Serve as the technical leader in data migration, reporting, and security implementation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work closely with stakeholders, development teams, and business analysts to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Develop proof-of-concepts and conduct system demonstrations for clients and stakeholders.
- Design and develop architectural solutions that fulfill technical requirements and align with business goals.
- Create detailed architectural documentation, including diagrams and specifications.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
- Code and configure proof-of-concepts for technology solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and standards.
- Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and technologies to enhance solution delivery.
- Train and mentor junior developers in Dynamics 365 solutions.
Qualifications
- B.S. in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field required. In lieu of degree, must possess a minimum 5 years experience as a Solutions Architect and 8 years experience as a Software Developer.
- Strong expertise in Finance, Project Accounting, Resource Management, and Budgeting workflows within Dynamics 365 required.
- Hands-on experience with solution architecture, system integration, and data migration in Dynamics 365 required.
- Experience with project lifecycle methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps practices required.
- Proficiency in Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) for enhancing Dynamics 365 functionalities required.
- Experience with microservices architecture, APIs, and integration patterns required.
- Strong written & verbal communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable solutions required.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment required.
- Any relevant certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect, TOGAF, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Certifications highly preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Full Stack highly preferred.
- Knowledge of Azure Services including Data Factory, Function Apps, and Logic Apps preferred.
