Overview
The Demand Generation and Marketing Manager owns the exciting opportunity to plan and execute multi-channel lead generation and marketing programs for Sycle. This position works closely with the sales team to grow the lead funnel, nurture prospects, and track sales results tied to marketing programs. The role creates and manages the lead funnel/scoring and the programs to fill the funnel, including outbound programs, content creation, and metrics. The focus is leads and results, working in close partnership with the Product Marketing Manager.
Creating powerful demand generation and content copy are critical skills as well as experience working with outside writers and agencies. To share program status and results, dynamic and crisp presentation skills are important. The role develops, tracks, and shares metrics with key stakeholders. B2B experience with technology companies is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and grow a lead funnel, including partnering with sales on the structure, system lead flows, lead scoring, and monthly metrics
- Define and execute a segmented, persona-based lead generation plan. Including segmentation by company type, prospect, customer, and other areas as needed.
- Create and execute a multi-channel marketing strategy and plan, including content marketing, email campaigns, nurture campaigns, outbound digital marketing, trade shows, webinars, and more. Includes direct creation of campaigns or using contractors.
- Partner with the Product Marketing Manager to develop and manage a content strategy to support demand generation, social media, and brand needs. Includes writing content and creating through contractors.
- Support and create excitement around product launches
- Report monthly on funnel status, lead traffic, program results, and campaign results
- Provides alerts and updates to stakeholders to build excitement around marketing programs and results. Maintains marketing calendar.
- Manages within the demand generation budget
- Other responsibilities as needed
Essential Traits

- Understands the basics of the sales process and product launch process
- Strong writer who can create high energy copy and manage contractors to produce high quality communication
- Familiar with basic graphic design concepts to provide direction and guide contractors
- Strong project and time management skills with flexibility to adapt to a fast-moving, changing environment
- Engaging presenter who can communicate high level information about programs and their impact on the business to leadership, middle management peers, and all employees

Qualifications
- 5-7 years in a B2B role with a technology/SaaS company
- 5-7 years experience in demand generation and content marketing. Including experience building, executing, and communicating programs and results.
- Familiarity with HubSpot or a similar system (Eloqua, Pardot, Salesforce)
- Experience in the healthcare industry helpful but not required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Technology Skills Requirements
- Direct use of HubSpot or similar marketing automation tool
- Proficiency in social media, especially LinkedIn
- Experience using webinar/meeting platforms (Zoom, Teams, GoToWebinar, etc.)
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
