Job Purpose:
Provides technical support for computer hardware and software and ensures the operational capability of casino's audio-visual systems
Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides technical support for computer hardware and software by answering incoming A/V help desk phone calls, providing personal service to audio users, troubleshooting audio system failures.
Maintains Casino Wide Audio System by programming the audio system and adjust necessary settings to what is desirable for the casino floor
Maintains Casino Programmable Lighting System by programming and adjusting required lighting settings. -
Ensures live sound reinforcement and lighting support for the casino and the resort by coordinating and operating video, portable audio, music matrix and paging systems, installing and operating appropriate equipment for various locations, on-site promotions, events, and performances, and conducting regular maintenance and troubleshooting as needed. -
Manages the Casino-Wide paging system by controlling sound levels and variances on the casino floor, communicating with the Call Center for necessary amendments, and collaborating with Department Managers and Directors to ensure clarity of sound through the audio systems throughout the casino. -
Maintains and organizes lighting, video and audio/visual equipment by receiving, counting and labeling lamps, bulbs, fixtures, wiring, monitors, video tapes, microphones, and audio compact discs, audio/visual equipment and storing inventory in designated areas. -
Assists IT Operations Manager by completing special projects as assigned. Job Specifications:
Education and Experience:
Essential:
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
5 years theatrical, concert or meeting audio and monitoring experience
3 years experience in theatrical, or concert or meeting lighting experience
NWare Peavey Audio and Crestron experience or equivalent audio and visual control systems knowledge
Audio and lighting schematic interpreting
Data network implementation and support experience
Desirable:
Bachelor's Degree in Theatre Arts or equivalent experience
Casino theatre and entertainment experience
IT experience in a casino or gaming environment
QSC Audio programming experience
Skills and Knowledge:
Essential:
Proficiency in audio and video cabling deployment, troubleshooting, and repair
Advanced working knowledge of digital media distribution system
Working knowledge of sound, monitor and recording equipment
Working knowledge of digital signage systems and content management
Working knowledge of wireless video systems
Working knowledge of theatre lighting
Excellent guest service skills
Ability to effectively communicate problems, resolutions, and instructions to non-IT personnel
Ability to mix concert monitors and front of house audio
Ability to effectively communicate and interact with team members, touring acts, and crews
Ability to communicate effectively in the English language
Ability to operate theatre projectors
Ability to operate patch bay channel distribution
Ability to operate channel splitter for monitor and house sound system
Ability to design stage plot charts and inputs list
Ability to read and follow schematic diagrams/flow charts
Ability to hear a full range of audio levels

Ability to stand and walk for up to eight hours
