Job Purpose:
Provides guests and staff with a clean and orderly environment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides guests and staff with clean and orderly work environment by scrubbing floors, grout, cleaning and dusting vents, ceiling tiles, walls, columns, lights, and light fixtures following established procedures.
Ensures the cleanliness of carpets by vacuuming daily, chemically pre-treating spots, and running the hot water deep-cleaning machine on a monthly basis following established procedures.
Maintains the deep-cleaning machinery by draining, cleaning, and airing out machinery after each use.
Assists Housekeeping Management by reporting the amounts of chemicals, equipment and supplies used, minimizing waste of product, and reporting any defective or damaged machinery and/or equipment.

Education and Experience:
Essential:
1 year of housekeeping and/or custodial experience
Desirable:
High School Diploma, High School Certificate of Completion, or GED
1-year experience with floor and carpet care equipment
Skills and Knowledge:
Essential:
Working knowledge of deep-cleaning chemicals
Ability to use hot water dirt extractors
Ability to use power wash equipment
Ability to communicate effectively in the English language
Ability to read in the English language
Ability to stand and walk for up to ten hours at a time
Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
Ability to reach, kneel and bend
Ability to appear for work on time
Ability to complete forms
Ability to interact effectively with team members and guests
Ability to maintain professionalism and composure
Ability to understand and follow verbal directives and written directions
