Job Purpose:
Supervises Media and Advertising efforts in executing Casino, Golf and SDTC requests.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervises the Casino, Golf Club, and SDTC paid media buying programs and activities and helps execute effective media communication and Media Relations Programs
Supports and Advances advertising plans and objectives by conducting demographic, lifestyle, quantitative and similar research identifying target audiences and market trends, determining media availability and new market opportunities based on analysis and recommending initiatives and activities that provide a competitive advantage.
Helps execute onsite/offsite advertising media programs and events if assistance is needed and development of recap reporting. This also includes commercial production efforts.
Measure the effectiveness of media programs by verifying the accuracy of placements, analyzing variances through CPM/CPP, invoicing, and making arrangements to recoup the value of rating points that have not been delivered
Coordinated advertising production by gathering copy and graphic information, writing copy when needed and/or facilitating translations when required, assisting in production as needed, determining deadlines, preparing creative requests, and collaborating with Creative Services to prioritize workload.
Enhances the organization’s reputation as an effective and progressive community partner by maintaining an awareness of emerging media practices, participating in educational opportunities, reading trade publications and online articles, exploring innovative media opportunities, and participating in activities to raise Sycuan’s profile in the surrounding community.

Education and Experience:
Essential:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
3 years of Marketing experience
Desirable:
Bilingual
Understanding of the San Diego Market
Skills and Knowledge:

Working knowledge of industry practices, concepts and terminology
Working knowledge of Nielsen TV ratings, radio ratings, and Scarborough qualitative research

Ability to communicate effectively in the English language
