Food RunnerJob Purpose:
Picks up and delivers packaged food and beverage items to assigned areas.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides delivery service to guests by picking up food and beverage items for orders placed by the service staff and delivers the packaged items to our guests. Assists the kitchen and service staff as needed to maintain the highest level of food quality, presentation, and timing to optimize our guests dining experience.- 60%
Provides accounting of transactions during shift by processing transactions in point-of-sale system, and following established cashier procedures, and reporting discrepancies to the food services management team. – 15%
Ensures kitchen area and assigned stations are stocked and clean by organizing areas, restocking plates, cups, bowls, utensils, condiments and supplies, and refilling condiment containers as needed. - 10%
Maintains safe and sanitary kitchen areas by cleaning and wiping down counters, shelves, trays, plate covers, sweeping floors, breaking down boxes, clearing hallway, and disposing of trash according to established procedures. - 10%
Provides assistance to expeditors by reading the point-of-sale tickets generated from the servers, ensuring requested food is cooked according to specific requests, proper plate presentation is used and correct food temperatures are maintained, organizing food items to be delivered, and ensuring condiments, food and needed supplies are delivered following established procedures. - 5%
