We are looking for:
The Scientist I to support the Coatings business segment of Syensqo Novecare at the R&I Center in Bristol, Pa.
We can count on you for:

• Formulate paint and perform testing for waterborne coatings and paints.
• Support the technical development of new products in additives and polymers for waterborne systems.
• Plans daily activities, follows SOPs or detailed instructions.
• Brings observations, unexpected results, summarizes data and helps analyzing results with senior chemists.
• Develop new applications with existing technologies.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area and follow safety policies and standards.

You will bring:

• Bachelor’s Science in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Material Science.
• Experience working with products and technologies in coatings, paints and adhesives is a plus.
• Customer support and technical service experience with the use of additives in waterborne paint applications is preferred.
• Strong team player and excellent collaboration skill.
• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
  
  

You will get:

• Competitive salary and benefits package.
• The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $78,000.00 to $108,000.00 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
