We are looking for:
- A passionate and knowledgeable Toxicological and Environmental Risk Assessment Expert to join our dynamic group of (eco)toxicology experts within the Product Stewardship team.
- The mission of Product Stewardship is to ensure that Syensqo is recognized as a responsible company well understands its chemicals, promotes global Product Safety programs ensuring the safe use of our products, anticipates upcoming regulations and societal needs, implements sustainable solutions, and applies social responsibility throughout the lifecycle of our products.
- As a core member of our organization, you will have the chance to collaborate with experts who are dedicated to making a positive impact on both human health and the environment. We value innovation, integrity, and a sense of making a real impact.
- Support product stewardship activities through collaboration and guidance on:
- Regulatory activities to ensure compliance with the USA requirements related to chemicals (PMN, EPA risk assessment, and modeling).
- Performance of exposure and risk assessment using dedicated modeling approaches for the industrial, professional, and consumer uses of Syensqo products according to US specificity
- Collaboration with third-party laboratories to prepare testing protocols and monitor studies for Syensqo products (ex, to support GHS classification, registrations, TSCA 8d, etc.)
- Support research, innovation, and business development initiatives
- Support colleagues within and outside the (eco)toxicology team by acting as a reference person on a specific field(s) of expertise
- Technical representation of Syensqo in consortia, professional associations, and governmental agencies
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure regulatory compliance and best practices.

- A master’s degree or higher in Environmental Science, Public Health, Toxicology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in human health and environmental risk assessments according to US EPA practices.
- Proven experience in the USA regulatory environment for chemicals and interaction with governmental agencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
- A proactive attitude and dedication to contributing to a safer and healthier world.

- The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $124,560 to $155,700 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate, we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonuses and/or other incentives.
- 16 or more weeks of maternity/paternity and co-parenting leave, according to local regulations
