Network Engineer @ Beacon Falls, CT (Onsite)

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible
for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance
and security. This role requires a strong understanding of computer networking principles and hands-on
experience with various networking technologies. The Network Engineer will play a crucial role in
supporting our IT infrastructure and enhancing network reliability.
Responsibilities
Provide hardware/software support by telephone, email, callout or via remote tools.
Install and configure new (Windows) computers, notebooks, printers, multi-function devices and
telephone handsets.
Installing software, upgrading operating systems (Windows 7, 10 to Windows 11) and software version
upgrades.
On-premises server monitoring and management.
Support of Print Management Solutions.
Hands on ITIL Solutions like Goto, Jira
Support for audiovisual facilities, video conferencing and microphones.
Detection of potential major incidents and problems.
Proactive maintenance and Incident Management.
User Account Management.
Issue documentation and resolution steps.
Other duties as required contributing to the delivery of our Helpdesk service to our users, End-user tech
support.
Skills
Proficiency in computer networking concepts and practices.
Strong skills in network administration, including monitoring tools and techniques.
Ability to conduct vulnerability assessments to enhance network security.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying issues.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
