Inside Sales Representative/ Bilingual English - Spanish (Roofing Industry)

SYL Roofing Supply, Are you passionate about customer service, sales and teamwork? We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Inside Sales Representative to join our roofing supply team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in assisting customers with their roofing projects by providing expert product knowledge and delivering exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for offering accurate and timely information to resolve any issues or concerns to our customers.

Specific duties may include:

• Determining customers’ needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions
• Following a product/supply checklist for each customer’s job and up-selling additional products and supplies
• Answering telephones and entering sales orders
• Accepting payment and applying it to the appropriate customer account
• Coordinating customer pick ups with the warehouse
• Following up on deliveries to ensure materials arrived on time with all items accounted for
• Reordering products to keep the store and warehouse shelves well stocked
• Addressing and resolving service concerns, should they arise

Specific qualifications include:

• 1-2 years' experience in roofing preferred (roofing supply sales or site work with a crew)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective time management and prioritization skills
• Basic computer skills
• Positive attitude and team player
• Detail and service-oriented
• Bilingual in Spanish / English
