Sylvamo NA Eastover, SC paper mill has an opening for a Stores Technician. We are looking for a dependable individual with excellent problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills to fill a challenging position. Stores Technician

Grade 4-7 depending on qualifications (Stores Pay Scale)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of storeroom duties, including receiving and unloading delivery trucks, delivering parts and supplies to all areas of the mill, and utilizing the appropriate computer programs to conduct these tasks, as well as various other tasks as requested by manager.
• Provide shift relief for other team members in the department.
• Work in a multi-discipline team environment that emphasizes a high level of communications, both internally and externally, and interpersonal skills.
• Support storeroom and mill wide objectives such as safety and environmental performance, 5S, annual inventory counts, etc.

Special Conditions:

• Must be self-motivated and able to work safely, productively and accurately with minimal supervision.
• Current position is day shift, but requires availability to perform night and weekend coverage. Shift work may be required in the future.
• Lifting required to load and unload materials.
• Climbing stairs required for work in the storeroom and for delivering throughout the mill.
• Must be able to operate forklift, Cushman, pickup truck and other equipment as required.
• Must have a clean driving record.

Qualifications:

• Computer experience (data entry, keyboarding)
• Stable work history
• Storeroom/Warehouse experience preferred
• SAP experience preferred
• High school diploma or GED required
