The Facility Preservation Leader will drive for continuous improvement in the Facility Preservation sub-element of the GMS Reliability Element at the Ticonderoga Mill. The primary purpose of this position is to maintain and protect assets to ensure safety of personnel, protection of the environment and reliability of the process. This is achieved by leading reliable installations, inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs of specific asset types within the mill.
Key Accountabilities:
Mill wide Non-Destructive Testing responsibility.
Successful candidate will be the Facility Preservation Element Leader for the Ticonderoga Mill.

- Roads and Rails
- Fencing
- Fire Protection
- Dikes and Levees
- Piping services
- Platforms and Ladders
- Insulation
- HVAC Systems
- Cooling towers
- Equipment bases
- Sewers and underground piping
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to manage and lead multiple projects
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Good organizational skills and the ability to work competing priorities
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels
- Strong leadership and ability to influence others
- Strong presentation skills
Required:
- 3 or more years of Industrial Maintenance experience
- Must be able to achieve required certifications
- BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field
- 5 or more years of Industrial Maintenance experience with weld testing and inspection certifications
- Knowledge of NDT concepts and processes
- Proven ability to coordinate and communicate complex work across departments
- 10 years of relevant experience in the Pulp and Paper industry
