Finished Products Paper Machine Senior Mechanical Maintenance Planner   Senior Maintenance Planning Position (Sylvamo EO Maintenance)   The Senior FP E1 Mechanical Maintenance Planner will provide planning and scheduling services for EO E1 Paper Machine, PS&D and Chem. Add.   The FP E1 Mechanical Planner will also serve as a contract coordinator of repair and/or capital projects, provide training to technicians and other mill personnel on maintenance workflow.    The person in this role is responsible for reviewing all approved notifications/work orders in an assigned area for completeness, relevance, scope, priority, and purpose. They will coordinate and requisition all material and outside contractor purchases in an assigned area.  They will schedule Maintenance resources based on area priorities and interactions with technicians, area managers, and operations personnel.  The planner is also responsible for estimating, coordinating and executing repair and capital assigned projects.  The individual must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills on technical and non-technical topics, be able to work in a multi-disciplined team environment that emphasizes a high level of communications and interpersonal skills, and posses traits the Maintenance department values: excellence, commitment, ethical, customer satisfaction and leadership.   The Planner is responsible for developing annual outage cost estimates to be reviewed and approved by mill management.   This position requires an average of 50 hours per week and requires participation in the on-call rotation for Maintenance.  The Planner will also be required to “fill in” for the area maintenance manager occasionally.   The minimum qualifications are ten (10) years Maintenance experience with five (5) or more planning for mechanical maintenance on a paper machine.  A demonstrated ability to estimate craft, man-hours and cost requirements for jobs.  Experience in multi-crafted maintenance, team-oriented environment.   The planner must have proven computer skills and be proficient in SAP applications, excel, “checkbook”, MS Word and MS Project.   The Senior Mechanical Maintenance Planner will be responsible for training, mentoring and developing fill-in planners and future planners.     Partial Listing of Planner Roles and Responsibilities Field Day Planning, Coordination and Execution - Critique/ Follow-ups Annual Outage  ( Same as above ) Work Identification and Approval Process Notification and Work Order Backlog Management Work Order Closure, Notes, Etc...
