Lead Server/Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Lead Server with Bartender experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment.

POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT

Uphold Sylvan Dale Standards and implement Standard Operating Procedures while creating a positive work environment, leading by example and giving direction as needed.

Compensation: $18.00 hourly Shared Tip Pool (Tip Average a minimum $3.00 - $6.00 hourly additionally)

Qualifications:

· Must have experience in the hospitality industry.

· Must be available to work holidays, weekends, and morning or evening shifts.

· Must agree to a criminal background check

· Must have a current state issued driver’s license

· Have at least one year of catering or food service experience.

· Have a ServSafe Certification or be able to acquire a food handler certification.

· Have leadership experience.

· Be able to work cooperatively with others in a diverse environment.

· Can provide genuine and attentive service to guests…go the extra mile.

· Have excellent time management and organizational skills.

· Be fluent in written and oral English.

· Have basic computer skills and develop knowledge of property management software.

Responsibilities:

· This is a “hands-on” position to include execution of server and bartender duties.

· Participate in the interviewing and hiring of servers/bartenders.

· Train staff in proper etiquette, policies, and procedures.

· Schedule and supervise servers/bartenders.

· Conduct performance reviews of service staff.

· Inventory supplies and place orders to maintain inventory.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of service kitchen and related storage areas.

· Participate in weekly staff update meetings.

· Be a liaison between various departments to deliver guest expectations

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Employee will regularly be required to work in a kitchen environment, including standing for long periods. Carrying large objects, stooping, kneeling, and bending. Able to work eight-hour plus shifts on concrete floors. Able to lift 40 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
