Tutoring Center Director

We are seeking a versatile, pro-active, professional to join our team in a management, education, and sales role!!! This is an ideal position for those seeking to put a passion for learning to use in a business environment!

Sylvan has been the leader in tutoring K-12th grade students for over 45 years. We have helped literally thousands of Charlotte area students catch up, keep up, and get ahead. We build skills and confidence in a positive, fun environment.

Key Job Responsibilities

-- Actively generate center revenue by meeting with parents and students during the enrollment process and throughout the program

-- Create awareness and interest in our programs by leading local marketing activites, expanding our social media presence and developing new opportunities for growth.

--Enhance our professional relationships and school partnerhsips by visiting area schools to meet with teachers and administrators on behalf of enrolled students .

-- Manage and supervise key daily center operations.

--Ensure timely and accurate completion of essential business operations.

-- Collaborate with Education focused teammates to implement and monitor successfull student programs that meet or exceed parent and student expectations.

---Support and enhance the center's mission to educate, inspire and enhance the lives of students and families in our comminuty.

Salary range of $43,000 to $48,000 plus monthly bonus opportunity of $400 -- $600.

Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years of full time work experience
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (minimum requirement)
- Proven experience in tutoring and/or teaching
- Sales and/or customer service experience
