Duties

• Utilize pre-determined comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum objectives and student learning outcomes.
• Deliver engaging lectures and facilitate classroom discussions to enhance student understanding of course material.
• Utilize various teaching methods and learning technologies to accommodate different learning styles.
• Manage classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring a respectful and productive learning environment.
• Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and projects, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
• Conduct research in relevant fields to stay current with educational trends and incorporate findings into course content.
• Collaborate with faculty members on curriculum development and program improvement initiatives.
• Mentor students, providing guidance on academic and career pathways.

Requirements

• Proven experience in higher education teaching or a related field is preferred.
• Strong skills in lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom management.
• Familiarity with learning technologies and their application in an educational setting.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students effectively.
• A commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learners.
• A background in research related to educational practices or subject matter expertise is desirable.
• A degree in Education or a relevant field is required; advanced degrees are preferred.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
