- Schedule: 6-9 hours per week (2-3 days, 3 hours per day)
- Compensation: $18-$25 per hour. Additional weekly gas allowance when traveling
We are seeking a retired/not teaching full time Intervention Specialist with an active handicap K-12 license to provide targeted tutoring support to students. You will tutor students in the center, and also travel to our partnered Montessori school. If you're looking for a flexible role where you can make a meaningful impact on students without the administrative burdens, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Work 6-9 hours per week, in 2-3 days with 3-hour sessions.
- Travel to partnered schools 2 days per week for in-person tutoring.
- Track data that addresses students' IEP goals (no need to write IEPs).
- Utilize technology to track progress and document student performance.
- No lesson planning, resource creation, or tasks outside of your scheduled hours. All prep is provided.
Qualifications:
- Intervention Specialist with an active K-12 handicap license.
- Must be able to work during the school day as well as evenings.
- Competent with technology and data tracking.
- Comfortable traveling to partnered school- gas alloward is given weekly for travels.
- Passion for supporting students and making a difference in their educational journey.
