Sylvan is hiring Reading Tutors at our Lake Zurich / Barrington, IL and Schaumburg, IL locations, for in-person tutoring for students K-12 :
- Reading / English Tutor
- Early Elementary Reading Tutor
- Beginning Reading Tutor
- TestPrep (ACT / SAT) Tutor
- Writing Tutor
- Study Skills Tutor
- Tutors do not need to focus on all areas above. We schedule to your areas of interest.

Skills and Qualities necessary :
Sylvan Learning Centers are the industry leaders in providing supplemental education to children in pre-K through 12th grade. We provide individualized instruction in Comprehension, Reading, English, Writing, Math and Study Skills. We also offer ACT / SAT Test Prep and STEM.
We teach 7 days per week and require our teachers to work at least one of Saturday / Sunday, and at least one day during the week. We have extended teaching opportunities in the summer, where we add morning hours.
