Job Responsibilities:
- Teaching & Engagement: Using Sylvan’s curriculum, you’ll work with students in small groups or one-on-one, helping them with subjects like Reading and Math.
- Personalized Learning: You'll adapt lessons to suit the individual needs and pace of each student, ensuring they find the material challenging yet fun.
- Feedback & Motivation: You’ll provide immediate feedback to students, building their confidence and helping them achieve independence in their learning.
- Student Interaction: Developing rapport with students is key to creating a supportive and motivating environment.
Required Qualifications:
One of the following:
- Enrollment in an Alternative Certification Program
- Teaching experience in a private school or higher education institution (no certification required)
- Sophomore or higher in college, studying education
- State-level teaching certification is preferred

- $20/hour
- Shifts Monday through Thursday morning before school and Monday afternoon after school. You can work as few or as many shifts as you would like.This role is seasonal and will end when the school district calendar concludes.
- No Additional Responsibilities: No lesson planning, no parent conferences, or administrative work.
- Free Sylvan Sessions: After 6 months of employment, you’ll be eligible for free Sylvan tutoring sessions for your dependent children.

This is an hourly, non-exempt position.
