Sylvan specializes in providing personalized instruction to students grades K through 12th grade in the following subjects: Reading, Math, Study Skills, Writing, and SAT/ACT Prep.
We are seeking applicants who have experience teaching/tutoring middle school and high school level math and who......
- Hold a bachelor's degree and teaching certificate (current, expired, or working towards)
- Are able to work with kids across a variety of grade levels
- Have the ability to multitask
- Have a reliable form of transportation
We are looking for applicants who are willing to work in-person and have availability after school during the week and/or some weekend availability. Our instructional hours are Monday - Thursday 4:00 p.m. -- 7:00, and Sat/Sun from 10-2 p.m. Days and hours are flexible based on your availability.
If you are looking for a fun and meaningful way to use your expertise for a few extra hours a week, we want to hear from you! Great for retired teachers or students working toward a teaching degree as well.
Hourly salary commensurate with experience.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 10 per week
