Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Center Director to lead the Grand Forks Center. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring high-quality instruction, driving enrollment growth, and delivering exceptional customer experience.
This is a full-time, on-site role offering a competitive salary and performance-based bonus.
Key Responsibilities
Center Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including staff scheduling, billing, customer service, and reporting
- Ensure smooth and efficient functioning of all administrative and instructional processes
- Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming learning environment
Customer Experience & Communication
- Act as the primary point of contact for students and families
- Conduct student assessments and parent conferences to discuss learning plans
- Provide ongoing support to families and maintain strong relationships
Instructional Oversight
- Collaborate with instructors and the Director of Education to ensure instruction aligns with Sylvan standards
- Monitor student progress, evaluate instructional quality, and make adjustments as needed
- Support a high-performing team of certified instructors
Sales & Business Development
- Manage enrollment processes and present Sylvan programs and pricing options
- Drive center growth by meeting performance goals in enrollment and retention
- Promote the Sylvan brand in the local community and build strong school partnerships
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in education, Business, or a related field required
- Teaching credentials are preferred but not required. (Could be current or expired)
- 3 years of experience in Education and/or customer service.
- management and/or Sales experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including 2 evenings per week and alternate Saturdays
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $45,000 (Negotiable based on experience).
