Job Title: School Campus Teacher

The successful candidate will deliver instruction to students, utilizing our curriculum and resources to create robust learning experiences. This involves developing lesson plans, leading instructional sessions, and evaluating student progress. Key qualifications include a bachelor's degree, state teaching credentials, and a strong understanding of phonics, reading comprehension, and college-level math

Essential Functions

• Prepare for each instructional session, gathering materials and resources as needed.
• Greet students, initiate instruction, and personally engage each student in the learning process.
• Instruct students according to Sylvan's instructional management standards.
• Evaluate and record student progress, tracking tokens earned and communicating specific needs to the contract program director.
• Utilize praise and encouragement to ensure students remain engaged and inspired to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

• Four-year degree in a discipline requiring three or more years of college-level math for math program teachers.
• Minimum one to two years of teaching experience preferred.
• Knowledge of phonics and reading comprehension preferred for reading teachers.
