We are looking for a motivated individual to become part of our facility's dietary team as a dishwasher. The dishwasher provides a vital role within our community by following established procedures for sanitizing eating utensils in a cost-effective, efficient manner to safely meet residents’ needs in compliance with federal, state and local requirements.

- Shift Format: 8-hour shifts

Responsibilities
- Ensure eating utensils are cleaned and sanitized in a matter appropriate to safely meet residents’ needs in compliance with federal, state and local requirements.
- Operate dishwashing equipment in a manner consistent with the appropriate operating procedures.
- Live and support Sylvan Shores' Core Values.
- Represent Sylvan Shores professionally at all times.
- Balance the care for residents and team members with the cost of such care.
- Work in a manner that every interaction ends with a “Thank you!"
Qualifications
- Enjoy working in a skilled nursing facility setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
- Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
- Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
- Prior experience in a healthcare facility or hospitality environment (minimum of 1 year)
- Willingness to enforce health and safety standards

Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
- Reliable transportation (Required)
