Job Responsibilities:
Materials Handling:
- Loading and unloading product into and from truck trailers using forklift truck or pump truck (and other equipment as assigned)
- Dock tagging and measuring product
- Hand-bombing product from trailer to pallet and other as assigned
- Load orders of a manifest sheet
- Maintain and organize inventory
Computer Work:
- Printing Dock tags
- General administrative assistant to Warehouse Manager
Safe Work Practices:
- Following safety procedures in order to perform all aspects of the job in a safe manner for him/herself and others
- Wearing personal protective equipment required
- Maintain a clean workplace
- Participating in health & safety courses, as required
Other Duties:
- Assisting others in the department as instructed by their supervisor.
Education/Experience:
- 1-2 years experience in materials handling in a warehouse.
- Certified Forklift Operator (Preferred, but not required)
- This is a full-time position, available to work Monday to Friday. Shift: 4:00 am to 12:00 pm
- We cross dock and load full transports.
- Our terminal is located in Akron.
