As a Museum Educator, you will engage visitors by providing educational programs, interactive experiences, and guided tours that bring museum exhibits to life. Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging educational programs, tours, and workshops for visitors of all ages.
- Facilitate hands-on learning experiences that align with the museum’s exhibits and mission.
- Adapt content to different audiences, including school groups, families, and the general public.
- Collaborate with museum staff to create educational materials and resources.
- Assist in the development of curriculum-based programs for schools and educators.
- Evaluate program effectiveness and adjust strategies to enhance visitor engagement.
- Utilize technology and multimedia tools to create interactive learning experiences.
- Support special events, outreach initiatives, and community engagement efforts.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience in museum education, teaching, or public engagement is a plus.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to adapt educational content to diverse audiences and learning styles.
- Passion for lifelong learning and making museum content accessible to all.
