Job Overview
As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for technical products and processes. Your work will involve collaborating with engineers, developers, and product managers to translate complex information into easy-to-understand materials for users, clients, and internal teams.
Duties
- Develop, edit, and maintain technical documents, including manuals, guides, and FAQs
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand technical concepts and translate them into user-friendly content
- Research industry trends and best practices to ensure documentation accuracy and effectiveness
- Organize and present information in a structured and engaging manner
- Ensure consistency, clarity, and compliance with company standards and branding guidelines
- Maintain and update documentation based on product updates and feedback
- Work with design teams to create visuals, diagrams, and other supporting content
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Previous experience in technical writing, content creation, or documentation preferred
- Strong ability to simplify complex technical concepts for a non-technical audience
- Proficiency in documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, Google Docs, or specialized software (e.g., MadCap Flare, Confluence)
- Excellent writing, editing, and organizational skills
- Basic understanding of technical concepts, programming languages, or software development is a plus
