Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Data Analyst to support our data infrastructure and analytics workflows. You will help collect, clean, and analyze data while contributing to automation efforts and database management. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers, gaining hands-on experience with modern data tools and cloud-based analytics solutions. The bullet points below broadly illustrates the scope of your duties in order of importance. The more functions with which you are familiar, the better; but even if you’re experienced in just one key area, don’t hesitate to apply. Your ability to creatively solve problems and leverage data for impactful insights will be what truly matters at SymBiosis.
- Programming: Basic proficiency in Python for data analysis (e.g., Pandas, NumPy). Can be relied upon to handle repetitive or tedious tasks with accuracy and diligence.
- SQL & Database Management: Understanding of SQL and experience querying databases (Snowflake experience is not required but is a plus).
- Statistics & Quantitative Analysis: Familiarity with basic statistical methods and data interpretation.
- Cloud & Data Engineering: Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS and basic knowledge of data pipelines.
- Machine Learning & AI: Interest in predictive modeling and AI (prior exposure to Scikit-Learn, PyCaret, or NLP tools is not required but is a plus).
- Data Visualization: Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Python visualization libraries (Matplotlib, Seaborn).
- APIs & Data Integration: Basic understanding of how APIs work and how they are used to connect data sources.
