SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Chief Human Resources Officer, the Human Resources Director will oversee and lead the strategic HR function, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The HR Director will act as a key advisor and partner to senior leadership, driving initiatives related to employee relations, organizational development, compliance, and talent management. This role requires the ability to foster collaborative partnerships across the organization to deliver value-added HR strategies and initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Leadership : Partner with the Chief Human Resources Officer and senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with organizational objectives and business needs.
- Organizational Development : Design and lead initiatives to optimize organizational structure, culture, and workforce planning to achieve operational excellence.
- Employee Relations : Oversee complex employee relations matters, including investigations, resolution strategies, and compliance with employment laws and organizational policies.
- Talent Management : Lead the development and execution of talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract and retain high-performing employees.
- Performance Management : Guide the organization’s performance management processes, including goal setting, employee development, and performance reviews, to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Compliance and Policy Management : Ensure all HR-related activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies. Update policies as needed to reflect changes in legislation or organizational needs.
- Training and Development : Identify organizational training needs and implement leadership development and employee skill-building programs.
- HR Metrics and Reporting : Analyze HR metrics to monitor organizational health, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Safety and Wellness : Oversee safety programs and initiatives to promote employee well-being and ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations.
- Special Projects : Collaborate with the CHRO on research, special projects, and implementation of best practices across the HR function.
