Symbiotic Services is seeking a Graphics Pre-Press Technician for a leading printing company specializing in product labels, flexible packaging, folding cartons, and shrink-sleeve printing. This role plays a key part in ensuring high-quality production for industries such as cosmetics, personal healthcare, food, and dietary supplements.
Job Summary
Under the direction of the Art Manager, the Graphics Pre-Press Technician processes customer files, pre-flights jobs, and prepares them for imaging directly to plate. The ideal candidate ensures accuracy and quality in pre-press operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and pre-flight customer files, ensuring proper resolution, color corrections, and trapping.
- Convert files to CMYK as required and ensure compliance with customer specifications.
- Output proofs and ensure final approval before imaging.
- Archive completed jobs for future use.
- Perform quality checks to verify files align with job orders.
- Collaborate with sales, customer service, and internal teams to resolve issues.
- Stay updated on industry technology and best practices.
Qualifications
Proficiency with MAC computers.
