Senior Cloud Architect

The Senior Cloud Architect is responsible for designing and implementing scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud architectures to support cloud migration, modernization, and multi-cloud strategies. This role will drive AWS adoption while providing expert guidance on cloud transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement cloud migration and modernization strategies.
- Serve as an AWS technical expert, solving complex business and technical challenges.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives on multi-cloud and AWS migration scenarios.
- Architect highly available, secure, and scalable cloud solutions.
- Optimize applications for cost, performance, and compliance.
- Review and enhance existing cloud architectures for refactoring opportunities.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship on cloud best practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 10 years of IT experience, with 5 years in cloud architecture.
- Strong expertise in AWS architecture, DevOps, CI/CD, containers, and serverless technologies.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Deep knowledge of enterprise architecture, security, networking, and databases (RDBMS & NoSQL).
- Proficiency in Java, Python, REST APIs, and integration frameworks.
- Experience in cloud-native application development and cloud cost optimization.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect (preferred).
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform & OCI (plus).
- State Government project experience prefers.
