Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Quality Analyst (Tester) to write test cases, execute tests, validate results, and log defects. The role involves testing Java applications and JCL on IBM/DELL mainframe systems.
Responsibilities:
Develop test plans, test cases, and execute testing for Java applications on distributed platforms.
Perform database testing with Postgres and DB2, including queries and data validation.
Use Jira for test management and defect tracking.
Prepare documentation for both technical and user-level reference.
Collaborate with teams to meet testing goals and deadlines.
Requirements:
5 years of experience in Java application testing.
Strong knowledge of DB2 and Postgres.
Experience in full software testing lifecycle, including integration testing.
Proficiency in troubleshooting, debugging, and data analysis.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Java programming knowledge.
Experience with AWS, Postgres DB, and Kofax is a plus.
