The Summer Internship is a 12-week, full-time (40 hours, Monday-Friday) experience, while Co-op sessions typically last 16 weeks in the Spring and Fall. Both programs offer a competitive hourly wage. Read on to discover more about this thrilling opportunity!
What you will do
- Assist in crafting, developing, and testing standardized PLC programs for control systems in warehouse automation.
- Contribute to the design and rollout of PLC hardware and software systems.
- Collaborate with various engineering disciplines, such as Hardware, Software, Control, Vision, and Safety to achieve program and testing goals.
- Develop reliability test plans to uncover potential failure modes early in the design phase.
- Translate complex test data into accessible formats and dashboards reflecting the system’s technical health.
- Create clear, concise presentations and confidently present test results to different teams and management.
- Engage in hands-on testing of innovative robotic systems throughout the technical development lifecycle.
- Design, build, and evaluate new fixtures to support hardware design validation.
- Gather and document system requirements within a multidisciplinary environment to enhance test methodologies and equipment designs.
- Execute root cause analysis of system failures to guide engineering development.
- Prepare thorough test reports demonstrating excellent attention to detail.
