Position Overview
We are currently seeking a proactive and motivated Shift Operations Leader to oversee our site operations team. This role focuses on daily activities, safety, and quality, and will serve as a pivotal partner and leader at our customer's site.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with safety commitments according to OSHA, Symbotic, and our customer processes on a daily basis.
- Manage a dedicated team of hourly and salaried employees to effectively support customer operational hours.
- Implement standard operating procedures to enhance system performance and adapt to evolving business conditions.
- Oversee staffing requirements for the established operating pattern, including training, team development, and performance evaluations.
- Guide the team in efficiently addressing issues, developing standards and documentation for specific problem resolution.
- Foster team training and motivation to drive exceptional customer service levels.
- Engage consistently with the local customer management team and Symbotic headquarters.
- Monitor system performance and analyze trends to recommend solutions.
- Maintain defined KPI reporting in line with contractual obligations.
- Conduct accident investigations per company guidelines and document findings with sound judgment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
