POSITION SUMMARY
The Rehab and Wellness Manager is responsible for the effective administration of treatment programs and the day to day management of the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team within the post-acute rehabilitation environment and cooperates in community marketing activities as relating to the post-acute delivery of therapy services. The Rehab and Wellness Manager provides managerial support and fields questions from regional Program Managers in absence of Regional Director to maintain operations at facilities in region.
Experience working in rehab space in Long Term and Skilled Nursing environment is a plus

Responsibilities:
FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise all therapy and wellness activities within the community.
- Supervise all Symbria Rehab therapy staff and exercise personnel within multiple communities as necessary.
- Coordinate therapy and wellness services with the nursing department and present information at interdisciplinary team meeting.
- Monitor staff productivity and staffing requirements per patient caseload at multiple communities as necessary
- Ensure program compliance with the requirements of regulatory agencies.
- Collect statistical data to monitor services utilitzation at multiple communities as necessary.
- Manage day-to-day operations independently while self-directing his/her functions as Rehab & Wellness Manager.
- Coordinate internal and external marketing activities in conjunction with community staff to promote awareness of Symbria Rehab Therapy Services and Wellness departments within the assigned communities.
- Monitor outcomes of the rehabilitation program.
- Abiity to monitor and assess Med A management of communities identified to improve Med A management.
- Support therapy team as allowed by provideing "tech" support to therapy operations.
- Adhere to Symbria Rehab's mission, Code of Conduct, and policies and procedures.
- Any and all duties as assigned.
ADDITIONAL KEY RESPONSIBILITES
- Interviewing and hiring new staff.
- Creating and managing schedule board at community.
- Interact and coordinate transiton to Symbria Rehab employees providing care at community.
- Represent Symbria Rehab at transition meetings at community as necessary
- Exercise or wellness training with business experience.
- Managerial and marketing experience; minimum two years.
- Advanced problem solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with other departments
- Excellent Observation, verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, and basic math skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills with strong focus on customer service.
- Proficient use of computers and Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
